In Colossians 3.1-4.1, Paul begins to draw out some of the implications of being “in Christ” and “knowing Him” for the new life we live in this physical world. The idea that particular traditions, rituals, or various forms of human religion identify us as belonging to God is completely undermined by Paul’s teaching.
